Photo Flash: Danielle Brooks, Ciara Renee & More Honor Whitney Houston at Latest BROADWAY SINGS Show

The 11th installment of the BROADWAY SINGS concert series, Broadway Sings Whitney Houston, in which a cast of 15 Broadway stars sang completely new arrangements of the legendary diva's greatest hits, accompanied by a 14-piece orchestra playing original orchestrations, was held April 10 at Highline Ballroom. The complete lineup included Brooks (The Color Purple, "Orange is the New Black"), Nick Rashad Burroughs (Kinky Boots), Nicholas Christopher (Motown), Lilli Cooper (Spring Awakening), Christine Dwyer (Wicked), Jason Gotay (Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark), Carly Hughes (Chicago), Amber Iman (Shuffle Along), Aisha Jackson (Waitress), Marcus Paul James (Rent, "The Wiz Live!"), Joaquina Kalukango (The Color Purple), Mykal Kilgore (Book of Mormon, "The Wiz Live!"), Corey Mach (Godspell), Renée (Pippin, "DC's Legends of Tomorrow"), Jamard Richardson (Book of Mormon), Saycon Sengbloh (Eclipsed), and Marisha Wallace (Something Rotten).

Also featured in the evening were Alexa Green, Alexis Sims, and Anne Fraser Thomas.

The concert paid tribute to the groundbreaking artist and her greatest songs, including "I Will Always Love You", "I Have Nothing", "Greatest Love of All", and "So Emotional". The music was orchestrated and arranged by Joshua Stephen Kartes.

Broadway Sings Whitney Houston, produced and directed by Corey Mach (Invisible Thread, Wicked), will celebrate the success and talent of this legendary, soulful artist. Previous artists honored in the series include Adele, Michael Jackson, Beyoncé, Sara Bareilles, and Billy Joel.
