Yesterday afternoon, the cast of SPIDER-MAN TURN OFF THE DARK headlined the Brooklyn Public Library's Summer Reading Kickoff event. At the event, Reeve Carney and Rebecca Faulkenberry performed "If The World Should End," followed by "Rise Above" with Jennifer Sanchez. The day also featured Spidey face-painting, coloring, and temporary tattoos. Check out a look at the performances below!
SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark features music and lyrics by 22-time Grammy Award-winners Bono and The Edge and a book co-written by Julie Taymor,Glen Berger and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, with direction by Ms. Taymor and additional direction by Philip William McKinley. Scenic Designer George Tsypin and Costume Designer Eiko Ishioka are winners of Outer Critics Circle Awards and were nominated for Tony Awards for their work on SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark.
Tickets for SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark are priced from $49 - $147.50, and can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com or by calling (877) 250-2929. A select number of premium tickets are available for purchase. Tickets are also available at the Foxwoods Theatre box office (213 West 42nd Street), which is open Monday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
