Last night, Sundance Institute and Kaufman Music Center hosted an anniversary concert reading of Carol Burnett's HOLLYWOOD ARMS at the Merkin Concert Hall in New York. BroadwayWorld has photos from the event below!
The reading was directed by Sundance alum, Mark Brokaw, and starred Michele Pawk (HAIRSPRAY, CABARET, MAMMA MIA!) reprising her Tony-winning role, as well as Tyne Daly, FUN HOME's Emily Skeggs and Sydney Lucas, and more.
Burnett introduced the reading of the autobiographical play written with her late daughter, Carrie Hamilton. The play returned to the stage 15 years after its beginnings at the 1998 Sundance Institute Theatre Lab.
