Founded in 1978, VSA-NJ is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the creative power of people with disabilities. The organization is part of the international VSA network, an affiliate of The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

Paper Mill Playhouse, a not-for-profit arts organization, is one of the country's leading regional theatres.
