On August 27th from 2PM to 4PM at the A.R.T. studios in New York City, Robert Peterpaul Productions produced a one day "Acting Master Class with Taylor Trensch." The event was a part of RPP's "Personable", a series of workshops that aims to assist aspiring talent in honing their craft in an cheerful and safe environment. Scroll down for photos!
It was truly an inspiring and personable class, with Taylor urging the students to be free to be themselves. He also taught students to "find at least one place to smile" in every piece they do.
Taylor Trensch currently stars as the lead role of Christopher at selected performances of Broadway's Tony-winning play, THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME (alternating with Alexander Sharp). His previous theatre credits include: the original Broadway cast of MATILDA THE MUSICAL (Shubert); 'Boq' in Broadway's WICKED (Gershwin); BARE; RENT (New World Stages); LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE (La Jolla Playhouse); MOTHER, ME & THE MONSTERS (Barrington Stage); and 'Moritz' in SPRING AWAKENING (First National Tour and his first musical) for which he won the Denver Post Ovation Award.
