This week, two Tony award-winning Broadway stars paid a visit to one of Times Square's newest residents-King Tut. Bernadette Peters and Patti LuPone toured Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs, located in the center of the theater district at Discovery Times Square Exposition. The stars exclaimed over the exhibition's stunning objects, including the golden sarcophagus of Tut's grandmother Tjuya, and the lifelike wooden mannequin of King Tut.

Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs is on display now through January 2nd and features more than 130 objects, including 50 treasures from King Tut's tomb. New York is the final stop on the exhibitions tour, and is the first location to feature an exact replica of Tut's mummy and forensic information that has helped shape the latest theories on how the boy king lived and died.
