On Sunday, June 10th, Rabbit opened at 59E59 Theaters as part of the Brits off Broadway festival. Written and directed by Nina Raine, Rabbit runs through July 1st. The opening night party took place at the Soho House.

"One of British theatre's brightest new directing and writing talents Nina Raine, hits New York running with her wildly acclaimed debut play, Rabbit, direct from a triumphant sold-out season in the West End and its hugely successful premiere at London's Old Red Lion Theatre," states the Brits off Broadway website. "It is Bella's 29th Birthday. Friends and former lovers meet for a drink to celebrate. But as the Bloody Marys flow, the bar becomes a battlefield. In the uncivil and hilarious war between the sexes, what happens when the females have the real fire-power - stockpiles of testosterone, lethal wit and explosive attitude?"

With a cast led by Charlotte Randle, the production also features Ruth Everett, Adam James, Hilton McRae, Alan Westaway and Susannah Wise.
