The record-breaking, razzle-dazzle Broadway smash Chicago
welcomes Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum R&B superstar Brian
McKnight to the company for a six-week limited engagement in the role
of slickster criminal lawyer Billy Flynn from Tuesday, October 8
through Sunday, November 18. Chicago plays on Broadway at the Ambassador Theatre (219 W. 49th St).
Brian McKnight is a Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter, arranger, producer and multi-talented musician. He has released a total of ten R&B/pop albums in fifteen years, seven of which have gone platinum or multi-platinum. McKnight's hit singles include "One Last Cry," "You Should Be Mine," "The Way Love Goes," "Love Is" with Vanessa Williams, and "Back at One," which reached number one on the Billboard 100 charts in 2000. His most recent album, Ten, was released on Warner Bros. Records in 2006. He currently the co-host of "The Brian McKnight Morning Show" on KTWV The Wave, a Los Angeles-based smooth jazz radio station. A primetime television talk show is in development.
Now in its 10th smash year on Broadway, Chicago is the winner of six 1997 Tony Awards including Best Musical Revival and the Grammy Award for Best Musical Cast Recording. It is the eighth longest-running production in Broadway history, as well as Broadway's longest-running musical revival.
