New York, April 5, 2013 -- Anthony Fedorov ("American Idol," "Rent") and his fiancée, Jennifer Paz ("Miss Saigon," "Les Miserables"), are now proud parents!
Paz gave birth to her firstborn, a son, Julian Paz Fedorov, on April Fool's Day at St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.
In an exclusive interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the couple revealed they were trying to avoid having a baby born on April Fool's Day.
"...But we decided he's [Julian, born at 7 lbs, 2 oz] a fool for love," Paz told The Hollywood Reporter.
Fedorov added, "We sent private messages to our families, quoting the song lyric, 'Wise men say, only fools rush in, and I can't help falling in love with you.' We can't help falling in love with Julian."

Fedorov, who played Joseph, and Paz, who played the Narrator, first worked together in 5th Avenue Theatre's production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" in 2009.
Fedorov, who later played Roger, closed the Off-Broadway production of Jonathan Larson's "Rent" at New World Stages in September 2012. He is now the new lead singer of 7th Heaven, a rock band established in Chicago.
Paz, on the other hand, has recently toured Mexico and Utah for the concert "Do You Hear the People Sing: From 'Les Miserables' to 'Miss Saigon'," a tribute to Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schonberg.
Last Christmas, Fedorov sang to Paz a Tagalog ditty, Ikaw Ang Lahat Sa Akin, before "popping the question" to the Filipino-American Broadway actress.
