Photo Flash: Alyssa Fox and Liana Hunt Join WICKED National Tour!

The company of the Munchkinland tour of Wicked just welcomed Alyssa Fox as Elphaba and Liana Hunt as Nessarose in Greenville, SC. Fox and Hunt join a cast that includes Carrie St. Louis as Glinda, Kristine Zbornik as Madame Morrible and John Davidson as The Wizard.

Fox began her Wicked journey in the San Francisco sit-down production as the Elphaba understudy and has been the Elphaba standby on this tour since 2012. Other favorite shows include Who's Your Baghdaddy?, Rocky Horror, Little Women and numerous concert performances.

Hunt was most recently seen on Broadway as Katherine Plumber in Newsies. Prior to that she starred as Sophie in MAMMA MIA! on Broadway and the National Tour. Regional credits include Les Miserables (Eponine) and Beauty and the Beast (Belle).

The company also features Ashley Parker Angel (Fiyero), Michael DeVries (Dr. Dillamond), Lee Slobotkin (Boq) and Emily Koch (Standby for Elphaba) with Keith A. With music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz (Pippin, Godspell, Academy Award-winner for Pocahontas and The Prince of Egypt) and book by Winnie Holzman ("My So Called Life," "Once And Again" and "thirtysomething"), Wicked, the untold story of the witches of Oz, is directed by two-time Tony Award winner Joe Mantello (Take Me Out, Love! Valour! Compassion!, The Vagina Monologues) and features musical staging by Tony Award winner Wayne Cilento(Aida, The Who's Tommy, How To Succeed...).

Based on the best-selling 1995 novel by Gregory Maguire, Wicked, winner of over 100 international awards, including a Grammy and three Tony Awards, is the untold story of the witches of Oz. It is produced by Marc Platt, Universal Pictures, The Araca Group, Jon B. Platt and David Stone.
