The Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning musical, A Chorus Line, is in its pre-Broadway engagement through September 2 at San Francisco's Curran Theatre.
This production of
A Chorus Line marks the first time the show returns to Broadway since its historic run ended 15 years ago.
Bob Avian, who co-choreographed
A Chorus Line's original production in 1975 with
Michael Bennett, will direct this new production.
A Chorus Line, conceived and originally choreographed and directed by
Michael Bennett, features a book by James Kirkwood and
Nicholas Dante, music by
Marvin Hamlisch and lyrics by Edward Kleban. Baayork Lee re-stages the original choreography.
