On March 14th at 5 PM, Julia Lipsztein will release her new music video, 'Believer' which is a cover of the big hit from the band Imagine Dragons. The video will launch Julia's Believe In Yourself Campaign, which will promote self-confidence among our young audience.
The video directed and produced by Kristi Gatto of Risk It Productions tells the story of a young dancer who encounters some bullies in her dance class but ultimately her self-confidence helps her push through to achieve her dreams.
The music behind 'Believer' was directed by Rick Hip Flores and has the participation of several children from the Broadway community; among them, Victoria Csatay, Casey Nadzam, Jeremy T. Villas (Kinky Boots), Sway Bhatia and Julia Lipsztein.
The dancers portrayed in the video consist of Julia Lipsztein, Sway Bhatia, Casey Nadzam, Victoria Csatay, Helena Yang, Isabelly de Lima Reis, Christian Plaza and Jeremy T. Villas. Dance choreography was provided by Vivake Khamsingsavath with costume design done by Dharmangi Bhatia.
The music video and accompanying dancer interviews will be released this week and are very important in today's Internet age as cyber bullies (both young and old) attack others, especially children, behind the comfort of their screen. These children are banding together to show their strength and confidence even after facing some struggles themselves.
