Photo Flash: 5th Annual JOEY AWARDS Luncheon Honors Nominees, Including BroadwayWorld's Richard Ridge!

Glamorous names and faces will walk a short red carpet to take the stage at the 5th Annual Joey Awards Ceremony on March 8th, 8pm at the Laurie Beechman Theater. The ceremony with be hosted by grand master Matt Stevens, with piano accompaniment by David John Madore, and trophy and envelope presenting by Miss Joe Allen, Erin Sullivan. In the meantime, a luncheon was just held to celebrate some of this year's winners. Check out photos from the festivities below!
The Joey Awards were conceived and written by Joe Major with additional material by Sean Kent. Tim O'Neil Lorah and Kate Weinstein graciously hosted the Nominee Liquid Luncheon Feb 8th at the legendary Sardi's, where the Governor's Awards were presented. Broadway World's very own Richie Ridge was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
The Joey Awards honor the staff in categories such as Best Leading Waiter and Waitress (Joe Allen), Best Foreign Waiter and Waitress (Orso and Bar Centrale) Best Managers, Best Coat Checks, Best Bartenders and Best Special Event. Other competitive categories include the restaurants regular cliental. The 'regular' nominee list is a collection and celebration of those patrons who have supported the staff and made the Joe Allen establishments more than just a place to eat. Nominees include; Jim Caruso, Ron Abel and Chuck Steffan, Larry Moss, Sutton Foster, Richie Ridge, Jesse Oxfeld and Chad Kaydo, Pat Galloway and Peter Webb, Lisa Lambert, and Steve Guttenberg.
