Audience members at the smash hit musical Kinky Boots were in for a special treat last night, when Sky, the Wire Fox Terrier who was named "Best in Show" at the Westminster Dog Show earlier this week, made a surprise appearance in the Tony Award-winning show. Check out a look back at her debut below!

Sky and her handler Gabriel Rangel came on stage at the top of the show to thunderous applause; book writer Harvey Fierstein even wrote new lines for the appearance. "I don't care if you did win the Westminster Best in Show -pick up after your dog! And congratulations!" Don, the disgruntled factory worker played by Daniel Stewart Sherman said during his curtain-raising ''turn off your cell phone'' announcement. After a center stage smooch with Don, the newly-minted Best in Show winner exited the stage. Sky returned for the show's curtain call and got a standing ovation for her Broadway debut!

Sky's guest-appearance in Kinky Boots capped off a whirlwind week for the five-year-old dog and her family. Since being crowned "Best in Show" on Tuesday night, she's appeared on multiple TV shows, had a steak lunch at legendary Broadway haunt Sardi's and took a trip to the top of the Empire State Building.

Kinky Boots, produced by Daryl Roth and Hal Luftig, opened on Broadway on April 4, 2013 at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street0) and went on to win six 2013 Tony Awards, the most of any show this season, including Best Musical, Best Score (Cyndi Lauper), Best Choreography (Jerry Mitchell), Best Actor (Billy Porter), Best Orchestrations (Stephen Oremus), and Best Sound Design (John Shivers). The show also received the Drama League, Outer Critics Circle, and Broadway.com Awards for Best Musical, along with many other accolades.
