On August 24th, Sardi's unveiled its newest caricature of Tony winner Victoria Clark, and BroadwayWorld was of course there along with the Light in the Piazza family!

Victoria Clark received the Tony, Drama Desk, and Outer Critics Circle Awards for her luminous portrayal of protective but domineering mother Margaret Johnson in the critically-acclaimed Craig Lucas-Adam Guettel musical The Light in the Piazza at Lincoln Center's Vivian Beaumont Theater. Her virtuoso performance in the Tony Award-winning musical has made her a favorite among audiences and critics, including The New York Times' Ben Brantley, who called Clark's work in Piazza "the best musical performance by an actress this season."
