Photo Coverage: The Theatre Museum Awards for Excellence Presented to Fathom Entertainment and BroadwayWorld.com

On Monday evening, BroadwayWorld.com was proud to watch its CEO and Founder, Robert Diamond, receive the 2014 Theatre Museum Award for Excellence in Arts Education. That same evening, Fathom Entertainment received an award for Excellence in Theatre History Preservation, which was presented to their new CEO, John Rubey.

What made the evening very special was that Fathom and BroadwayWorld already had a business relationship. BroadwayWorld.com proudly champions Fathom's remarkable work, whether it's presenting Operas in Cinemas or such highlights as THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA's 25th Anniversary concert. Seated at the same table were BroadwayWorld.com's team members, as well as Fathom staff and business associates and presenters Peter Gelb of the Metropolitan Opera, who presented to Fathom and Richard Jay-Alexander, who presented to Diamond.

Rob Diamond closed his speech of thanks, after acknowledging his first 10 years as the theatre world's most popular and comprehensive web site, recommitting the next 10 years to continuing the site's support of arts education.

The evening began with an informal cocktail party and traditional step and repeat, which you can see photos from if you click here.

The annual event was put together by Bonnie Comley, Stewart Lane and the great team from the Theatre Museum. A great time was had by all. It was a great honor and a wonderful evening.
