The Young Professionals Committee of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, New York City Affiliate presented The Pink Campaign on Broadway at the American Airlines Theatre (227 West 42nd St).
This one-night only event took place on Monday, May 4, 2009 and was an inspirational Broadway benefit performance filling the stage with original music and theatre that explored the ways in which breast cancer touches people's lives.
Directed by David Ruttura (White Christmas, Farragut North) the event featured musical performances of original songs by celebrated Broadway composers and artists in the music industry and short plays acted, written and directed by professionals of stage and screen.
All these pieces were inspired by various breast cancer experiences. All proceeds went directly to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure in the name of the Young Professionals of NYC Komen Affiliate.
