Last night June 15, 2008 the 2008 Tony Awards took place at Radio City Music Hall. After the ceremony was over the nominees and winners attended an exclusive after party where they celebrated the end of a great year on Broadway.

The Tony Awards were broadcast live on CBS, The 2008 Tony Awards are presented by the Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing.

The Antoinette Perry "Tony" Awards are bestowed annually on theatre professionals for distinguished achievement. The Tony is one of the most coveted awards in the entertainment industry and the annual telecast is considered one of the most prestigious programs on television.
