Photo Coverage: Sardi's Honors Goggin For 'Nunsense'

On March 28th, 2008 the international sensation Nunsense celebrated its 25th Anniversary with the unveiling of Dan Goggin's Caricature at Sardi's Restaurant. During its New York run, Nunsense became the second longest running musical in off-Broadway history, eclipsed only by legendary The Fantasticks. Immediately following the 20th anniversary production of Nunsense, is Sister Amnesia's Country Western Nunsense Jamboree (August 15 - October14, 2007), a dose of 'Grand Ole Opry' and down-home fun filled with hysterical one-liners and infectious comic tunes. Followed by, and just in time for the holidays, Nuncrackers: The Nunsense Christmas Musical (October 31 - December 30,2007), an uproarious take on "The Nutcracker" Ballet, a perfect way to ensure the holiday season is merry and bright. Future productions include Nunsense 2: The Second Coming, Meshuggah Nuns, Nunsense A-Men and the newest addition to the family, Nunsensations: The Nunsense Vegas Revue. The DVD for Nunsensations: The Nunsense Vegas Revue will be released later this spring. The show recently was given a permanent home at the Willows Theatre Company in Concord, CA.
Sardi's Restaurant is located at 234 West 44th Street on Thursday, March 6. Goggin joins the ranks of Broadway royalty whom have been honored with a caricature on the famous walls of Sardi's Restaurant.
