Earlier this week, Carnegie Hall presented Standard Time with Michael Feinstein "The Bad and the Beautiful"- Celebrating David Raksin and Classic Film Songs. Michael Feinstein, backed by a 12-piece band conducted by Charles Prince, sang classic songs by some of Hollywood's greatest composers. Feinstein performed music by David Raskin, the composer of the themes for The Bad and the Beautiful, Laura, and other memorable films, as well as favorites by other great masters of music for the silver screen. Check out photos from the special night below!
Michael Feinstein-the multi-platinum-selling, five-time Grammy-nominated, and two-time Emmy-nominated entertainer dubbed "Ambassador of the Great American Songbook"-is considered one of the premier interpreters of American standards.
