Following six sold out shows, The Laurie Beechman Theatre continued their hit series, SONDHEIM UNPLUGGED for a seventh installment, Friday, October 1 at 7pm. Joining the cast were four special guests, all of whom originated roles in Sondheim musicals: Len Cariou (Sweeney Todd, A Little night Music), Annie Golden (Assassins), Victoria Mallory (A Little Night Music) and Sarah Rice (Sweeney Todd).
Also appearing in the October 1 concert were Tom Andersen, Bobby Belfry, Christina Bianco, Eric Comstock, Harris Doran, Barbara Fasano, Joe Iconis, Steven Lutvak, Stearns Matthews, Julie Reyburn, Will Trice, Mark Watson and Jason Williams.
The Laurie Beechman Theatre is located within the West Bank Cafe at 407 West 42nd St., in the heart of New York's theatre district. Sondheim Unplugged features an array of Broadway and Cabaret's most dynamic performers, celebrating the work of Broadway's most beloved and prolific composer, accompanied by piano only.
