Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) hosted its annual 2008 Spring Gala on Monday, April 7th, 2008. Roundabout celebrated the dynamic time period of the 1960s with a unique evening called "Feeling Groovy: Pop Songs of the 60s."
Roundabout Theatre Company opened its doors in 1965, a time that also marked the dawning of a brand-new age. While Roundabout redefined classic plays on stage, pop music and fashion were being redefined as a seismic shift changed the American cultural landscape forever.
For one night only, Roundabout recaptured this powerful moment in time as guests were treated to a gourmet dinner and an original musical revue performances from Broadway's hottest stars at Roseland Ballroom (239 West 52nd St, NYC) Catering was provided by Creative Edge Parties.
The musical celebration kicked off at 9:00PM, directed by Tony Award® winner
