Rita Moreno opens the Cafe Carlyle's 2007 Winter/Spring Season with her show "Little Tributes." The four-week debut engagement began Tuesday, January 16, 2007 and plays through Saturday, February 10, 2007.
Moreno is one of a select group of performers to have won all four of the most prestigious show business awards: The Oscar, The Emmy, The Tony and The Grammy. The Tony was for her 1973 triumph on Broadway as Googie Gomez in The Ritz. The Grammy was for her 1972 performance on "The Electric Company Album" for children, which was based on the long-running television show of the same name. Other film credits include Singin' in the Rain and The King and I, while additional Broadway credits include The Odd Couple, The Last of the Red Hot Lovers and The Sign in Sidney Brustein's Window.
