As BroadwayWorld.com previously reported, actor and Broadway vet Joshua Park died at the age of 38 this weekend, following a brief illness. In rememberance of Park, BWW's own Walter McBride presents a selection of snapshots from the 2001.

Most known to theatre audiences for his leading roles on Broadway in THE ADVENTURES OF TOM SAWYER, as well as the national tour of PIPPIN and PRODIGAL at the York theatre, Joshua Park spent more than 14 years as a professional actor and director in New York and Chicago.

His film and television credits have included cult favorites THE BOG CREATURES and FORT DOOM as well as an appearance with Kristen Bell on THE ROSIE O'DONNELL SHOW (footage below).

As a director he has worked with such greats as Austin Pendleton and Mickey Dolenz on several projects including EQUUS and TOTAL ECLIPSE. He is a graduate of The North Carolina School of the Arts.

Recently, he served as Production Manager and Casting Assistant for SEEKING SUBLET, a new comedy web series about two roommates in search of the perfect third roommate in New York City.
