Adrienne Barbeau stars as the legendary Judy Garland in Bill Van Zandt's The Property Known as Garland,
which opened at the Actor's Playhouse on March 23rd after beginning previews on March 13th; the show will run through June 4th.
The star and friends celebrated with an after-party at Garage. Barbeau--who received a Tony nomination for originating the role of Betty Rizzo in Grease--was also joined by original cast members Carole Demas (Sandy), Walter Bobbie (Roger), James Canning (Doody) and Ilene Kristen (Patty), as well as stars such as Leslie Uggams and Karen Ziemba.
Directed
by Glenn Casale, The Property Known as Garland is "a fictional account of Judy backstage at
her final concert appearance at Falkoner Center in Copenhagen in
1969." The play also features Kerby Joe Grubb. Tickets,
