Only Make Believe's Annual Gala, MAKE BELIEVE ON BROADWAY, hosted by Tony Award winner James Monroe Iglehart and honoring Tony winner and Emmy and Golden Globe nominee Alan Cumming and Morgan Stanley Chief Legal Officer Eric Grossman, just took place last night, November 9 at the St. James Theater, directed by Tony Award winner Joe DiPietro.
HAMILTON's Leslie Odom Jr. and his wife, THE AFFAIR'S Nicolette Robinson are among the evening's lineup. They were joined by Tony winner Lena Hall, Tony winner, Emmy and Golden Globe nominee Alan Cumming, Tony winner James Monroe Iglehart, Tony nominee Brad Oscar, Tony nominee Rob McClure, The Skivvies and many more.
Only Make Believe is a non-profit organization that creates and performs interactive theatre for children in hospitals and care facilities. They are dedicated to the principle that freeing a child's imagination is a valuable part of the healing process. Only Make Believe creates and performs interactive theatre for children in hospitals and care facilities throughout New York City and Washington DC and has served over 35,000 children since 1999 and has performed in over 55 hospitals and care facitlities in the NYC and DC Metro areas. Only Make Believe is free of charge to hospitals and has been bringing interactive theatre to children in need for over 16 years. Our vision is to bring joy and inspiration to as many chronically ill children as possible, across the United States and around the world.
