BroadwayWorld was there as Bare star Natalie Joy Johnson made her solo cabaret debut at Joe's Pub (425 Lafayette Street) on February 1st.
"We're exploring everything from Whitney Houston to Jerry Herman, Harold Arlen to Reba McEntire, Van Morrison to Jill Scott. There will also be a few original tunes," stated Johnson on the concert. The show featured musical direction by Jonah Speidel, who also worked on Postponed Indefinitely, which Johnson performed with Adam Fleming at Feinstein's at the Regency. He also fronted the Pink Champagne Orchestra. Ben Rimalower directed.
