Husband and wife show business couple Harry Hamlin and Lisa Rinna danced their way onto the Great White Way to make their Broadway debuts in the hit musical Chicago.
Rinna ("Dancing with the Stars," "Days of Our Lives," "Melrose Place") stars as Roxie Hart while Hamlin ("Dancing with the Stars," "L.A. Law," Clash of the Titans, Hamlet at the McCarter Theatre) takes on the role of Billy Flynn. The pair star in Chicago from June 19th through July 29th. Prior to June 19th, Lisa Rinna took to the road in the national tour of Chicago.
Chicago celebrated its record-breaking 10th year on Broadway in November of 2006. Winner of 6 1997 Tony Awards, including Best Musical Revival and the Grammy Award for Best Musical Cast Recording, the show is presented by Barry and Fran Weissler, directed by Walter Bobbie and choreographed by Ann Reinking. With a score by John Kander and Fred Ebb, and a book by Ebb and Bob Fosse, Chicago recounts the rivalry of merry murderesses Roxie Hart and Velma Kelly.
