Photo Coverage: Les Miserables Gypsy Robe Ceremony

/>Nikki Renee Daniels/> was chosen as Les Miserables' winner of the Gypsy Robe. Daniels performs as Madeleine, "Whore" and "Woman Worker" (as well as understudy for the role of Fantine) in the show, which opened at the Broadhurst Theatre on November 9th.

The colorful Gypsy Robe, embellished with mementos from Broadway musicals, is presented to the cast member who has the most Broadway chorus credits. How the Grinch Stole Christmas - The Musical's William Ryall/> was the last performer to be chosen as the Gypsy Robe winner. Daniels' previous Broadway credits include Lestat, The Look of Love, Nine and Aida.

Les Miserables, in its highly anticipated return, stars Alexander Gemignani/> as Jean Valjean, Norm Lewis/> as Javert, Daphne Rubin-Vega as Fantine, Celia Keenan-Bolger as Eponine, Aaron Lazar/> as Enjolras, Adam Jacobs as Marius, Ali Ewoldt as Cosette, />Gary Be/>ach as Thenardier and Jenny Galloway as Mme. Thenardier, among others.
