Rodgers + Hammerstein's CINDERELLA celebrated its 100th performance today, May 29th, at the Broadway Theater. The producers of the 2013 Tony Award nominated Best Revival of a Musical have also just announced National Tour for the 2014-15 season. CINDERELLA earned nine Tony Award nominations including: Best Revival of a Musical, Best Book of a Musical, Best Orchestrations, Best Costume Design of a Musical, Best Lighting Design of a Musical and Best Sound Design of a Musical.

The Original Broadway Cast Recording of Cinderella by Ghostlight Records was released digitally on May 7, with the CD due in stores on June 4.

CINDERELLA features music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, a new book by Douglas Carter Beane with the original book by Oscar Hammerstein II. The musical is directed by Mark Brokaw with choreography by Josh Rhodes. Music adaptation, supervision and arrangements by David Chase. Orchestrations by Danny Troob. Andy Einhorn is the music director and conductor.

MR. Beane's book for RODGERS + HAMMERSTEIN's Cinderella offers what's being described as a new romantic twist on the ultimate makeover story of a maid-turned-princess, mixing fresh comedy and wit with the beloved tale's classic elements -- the pumpkin, glass slipper, masked ball and more. In addition to musical numbers from the original score -- including "In My Own Little Corner," "Impossible/It's Possible," "Ten Minutes Ago" and "Do I Love You Because You're Beautiful?" -- this Cinderella also includes songs from the Rodgers + Hammerstein "trunk ."
