Jennifer Hudson and Melina Kanakaredes atteneds a reception following the Global Summit For A Better Tomorrow at the United Nations on March 7, 2007 in New York City.
Hudson, a former "American Idol" finalist, has won the Oscar, SAG and Golden Globe Awards for her turn as Effie in the hit film version of Dreamgirls. Kanakaredes was seen on "Providence," and is currently featured on "CSI: NY."
