First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes a messy divorce negotiated in the downstairs party room of a Northern New Jersey pizza joint. In this new dark comedy, NYC union plumber Matt and his gorgeous, Israeli wife Aviva are getting divorced. The back-room deal is mediated by Matt's best friend Frankie, and Aviva's cousin Moshe. As the couple battles it out through cultural differences, mixed messages, and high passions, one question remains...what is the price of love?
MONEY GRUBBIN' WHORES stars Adam Mucci ( "Boardwalk Empire", You're Welcome America) as Matt, James Andrew O'Connor (Don't Dress For Dinner) as Frankie, Penny Bittone (The Qualification of Douglas Evans) as Moshe and Carmit Levité (Handle With Care) as Aviva. Michael Billingsley will understudy the roles of Matt and Frankie.
Tickets to MONEY GRUBBIN' WHORES are $51.25 and can be purchased online at www.Telecharge.com or by calling 1-800-447-7400. Purchases can also be made by visiting the Theatre Row Box Office at 410 West 42nd Street in NYC.
