Photo Coverage: In the Heights Guilty Pleasures Benefit

Last Monday night the touring cast of IN THE HEIGHTS performed two benefit concerts to raise funds for a Puerto Rican hospital. The concert, entitled "Guilty Pleasures", featured over 20 members of the cast performing their guilty pleasure songs. The event, held at Show at Barre (Vermont Restaurant) in Los Feliz, and was produced by Shane Scheel and Matt Patton. Performers included Arielle Jacobs (Nina), Lexi Lawson (Vanessa), Sabrina Sloan (who played Vanessa until July 4th, when she took maternity leave), Rogelio Douglas Jr. (Benny), Danny Bolero (Kevin), Genny Lis Padilla (Carla), Isabel Santiago (Daniela), Natalie Caruncho, Dewitt Cooper III, Joseph Morales, Joel Perez, and Chris Chatman. During the second performance, audiences were treated to a surprise appearance and impromptu performance by IN THE HEIGHTS creator and star Lin-Manuel Miranda. The benefit was hosted by TV and Broadway sensation Jai Rodriguez.

The touring company of IN THE HEIGHTS is performing its final weekend at Los Angeles' Pantages Theatre. Tickets can be purchased by visiting www.broadwayla.org.
