Photo Coverage: Idina Menzel Releases 'I Stand' CD at Virgin

Idina Menzel celebrated the release of "I Stand," the long-awaited and highly anticipated Warner Bros. Records debut, at Virgin Megastore in Times Square on January 29 at 6:30PM.

"With a one-of-a-kind unmistakable voice and nine songs written by the artist, 'I Stand' covers Idina Menzel's unique perspective on life and love," explain press notes. The album features her new hit single "Brave."

"I Stand," produced by Grammy award winner Glen Ballard, brings Idina Menzel to another chapter of a star-studded career that includes a Tony Award for her star turn as the green witch in Wicked as well as a Broadway debut in the Pulitzer Prize-winning Rent. Menzel recently performed the National Anthem for a TV audience of many millions before the start of the famed Giants / Patriots Game in New Jersey.
