On November 6th, The Drama League hosted its annual Fall Festivities event at the Players Club (16 Gramercy Park South).
The Drama League members that attended were treated to performances from Raul Esparza (Company), Gay Marshall (Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris), Denise Summerford (Shout!), Danny Burstein (The Drowsy Chaperone) and Robert Hager.
"The Drama League has been a second home for those who love American theatre. Founded as an association of theatre professionals and patrons dedicated to encouraging the finest in professional theatre, The Drama League soon found news roles -- as a service organization for theatre lovers interested in enhancing their understanding and experience of live theatre, and as an unparalleled training program for emerging theatre artists. In this new century, the benefits enjoyed by our members include discounted tickets for the best Broadway, Off-Broadway, and regional productions across the United States; informative panels, luncheons and discussions with leading figures in the theatre; gala events saluting theatre luminaries; our Annual Awards honoring the New York season's outstanding performers and productions, and much more," state notes.
