DOUBT's John Patrick Shanley received the 2005 Pulitzer Prize for Drama on April 5. He joined cast members from the show at the Walter Kerr Theatre to celebrate, and BroadwayWorld was there.

The Manhattan Theatre Club production of DOUBT, the critically acclaimed new play by John Patrick Shanley, celebrated its Broadway opening on Thursday, March 31st at the Walter Kerr Theatre. The production, directed by Doug Hughes, stars Cherry Jones as Sister Aloysius and Brían F. O'Byrne as Father Flynn, with Heather Goldenhersh as Sister James and Adriane Lenox as Mrs. Muller. Set against the backdrop of a Bronx Catholic school in 1964, DOUBT is the story of a strong-minded woman faced with a difficult decision. Should she voice concerns about one of her male colleagues…even if she's not entirely certain of the truth?
