Christian Hoff, who won a 2006 Tony Award (Best Featured Actor) for his role as Tommy DeVito in the hit musical Jersey Boys, set a Guinness World Record for his work on the audio book Tell Me How You Love The Picture, a Hollywood memoir written by Academy Award-nominee Edward S. Feldman. A celebration, featuring Hoff's Jersey Boys co-stars and more, took place on February 18th at Victor's Cafe (236 W. 52nd St.).
The event was co-hosted by Tom Barton, Audio Book Producer and Co-Director, and Jimmy Merrill, Audio Book Co-Director.
Hoff now has the record for Most Character Voices on an Audio Book. Broadway's Jim Dale previously held the record at 134 (For Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix).Hoff, who made his Broadway debut in The Who's Tommy, has also been seen in the Actors' Fund benefit concert of The Best Little Whorehouse in TX. Regional credits include Dames at Sea, South Pacific and Camelot, and he has also toured in Jesus Christ Superstar.
