Gingold Theatrical Group's PROJECT SHAW presented BACK TO METHUSELAH: PART ONE – a comedy of epic proportions by George Bernard Shaw – on Monday, January 23 at 7pm at The Players Club (16 Gramercy Park South) in Manhattan. David Staller produced and directed.

Now in its seventh sold-out year, Gingold Theatrical Group's PROJECT SHAW made history in December 2009 as the first company ever to present every play (including full-length works, one-acts and sketches) written by George Bernard Shaw.

BACK TO METHUSELAH is Shaw's 1921 play that tells the story of all Humanity. Starting in the Garden of Eden and sailing up through the 22nd century, this comedy tackled all the political and social issues Shaw is so notorious for. Do you have to see both parts to get it? No! Part Two of this play will be presented on February 27, and the two parts exist independently of each other.

The cast featured Daniel Davis (LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, "The Nanny"), Brent Barrett (SILENCE! THE MUSICAL), Sean McNall (Pearl Theatre Company's RICHARD II), Tim Jerome (ME AND MY GIRL), Donnie Kehr (Billy ElliotT), Elena Ricardo, Ta'Rea Campbell (BOOK OF MORMON, LION KING), and Henry Yuk. Journalist Andy Propst hosted the evening.
