Tuesday, November 21 was all about ventriloquist Jay Johnson and his side-kick Bob, now on Broadway in Jay Johnson: The Two and Only.

Those in line were also be treated to food from Two Peas and a Pot and a birthday cake for Bob.
"Jay Johnson's side-kick Bob made his network television debut in November 1977 on the groundbreaking comedy series 'Soap.' Still together after almost three decades, Bob is now starring on Broadway with Jay in Jay Johnson: The Two and Only!, along with a variety of other characters," stated press notes. Bob's day of celebration culminated with the unveiling of Johnson and Bob's portrait at Sardi's. New York Post columnist and fellow Texan Liz Smith was on hand to reveal the portrait of the dynamic duo, which is one of the few portraits along Sardi's infamous walls to feature two characters together.
