The theme for "Broadway Bares 17" was announced as "Myth Behavior" on Monday, March 13 as part of NextWorks - the monthly gay professionals mixer held at Splash (50 West 17th Street) and sponsored by Next Magazine.
A raffle was held at the NextWorks event, where a pair of tickets to Broadway Bares and three month gym membership to Club H Fitness were some of the prizes featured. Tony Award-nominee
Christopher Sieber (
Spamalot, Into the Woods) was on hand to host the NextWorks event and draw the winning raffle ticket.
"Broadway Bares" is a fundraising event for Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS (BC/EFA). According to press notes, "the hotly anticipated annual event combines the naughtiness of burlesque and the razzle-dazzle of Broadway and has been a smashing success since its inception. Created by Tony Award-winning choreographer
Jerry Mitchell, the event features the hottest male and female dancers on Broadway and has become one of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS' signature events."
Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS is the nation's leading industry-based, not for profit AIDS fundraising and grant making organization.
Tickets for the 17th Annual Broadway Bares will officially be on sale and can be purchased by going to
