The third annual Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS benefit evening "Salon: Six Degrees of Broadway Cares" took place on Monday, October 27th.

SALON: SIX DEGREES OF BROADWAY CARES, is BC/EFA's exclusive and unpredictable evening where partygoers mix rub elbows with some of the brightest stars of Broadway and TV. This "Ultimate Insider's Experience" once again returned to the extraordinary residence of Ron Pobuda on Central Park South.  Chris Noth, Tony DeSare, Traci Jai Edwards, Bebe Neuwirth (Tony Award® winner for Broadway's Chicago TV's Cheers and Frasier), Emmy Award® winning actress Rue McClanahan (TV's "The Golden Girls"), Anthony Rapp (original cast of Broadway's RENT), Christian Hoff (Tony Award® winner for Broadway's Jersey Boys), writer / actor David Steen (LOGO TV's "Sordid Lives"), Broadway legend and Tony Award® nominee Andrea McArdle, Bobbie Eakes, (Emmy-nominated star of ABC's "All My Children"), 2008 Theatre World Award winner Alli Mauzey (Cry Baby), and Broadway's favorite piano man and raconteur Seth Rudetsky all attended the even. 

Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS is the nation's leading industry-based, nonprofit AIDS fundraising and grants making organization.  By drawing upon the talents, resources and generosity of the American theatre community, BC/EFA raises funds for AIDS-related causes across the United States.  Since its founding in 1988, BC/EFA has raised over $140 million dollars for critically needed services for people with AIDS and other serious illnesses.

BC/EFA is the major supporter of six programs at The Actors' Fund  - including The AIDS Initiative, The Phyllis Newman Women's Health Initiative, 2 supportive housing residences and the Al Hirschfeld Free Health Clinic at The Aurora in NYC   - and awards grants to over 400 AIDS and family service organizations yearly.
