New York, March 1, 2013 -- Rain on Saturday night (Feb. 23) did not dampen the spirits of more than 700 concertgoers to fill the historic performance venue The Town Hall in Times Square for the post-Valentine concert of "Les Miserables" alums Adam Jacobs and Ali Ewoldt.

The 90-minute concert, dubbed "A Heart Full of Love," featuring diverse repertoires -- "Somewhere" from "West Side Story," "Each Day with You" by Filipino pop singer Martin Nievera, "Man in the Mirror" by Michael Jackson, "So Many Windows" from Carner and Gregor's "Island Song," among them -- were ably assembled by the top billers' beloved friends in the theater industry Victor Lirio (concept of spiels), David Dabbon (musical direction and arrangement), and Adam Fitzgerald (stage direction).

A bunch of more friends, Rona Figueroa ("Nine," "Les Miserables") and Broadway Barkada, a Filipino singing group, also joined Jacobs and Ewoldt whenever a musical number needed additional powerhouse vocals (for example, the "Les Miserables" medley: "In My Life"/"A Heart Full of Love"/"One Day More," which brought the audience to its feet).

Proceeds from Saturday night's performance will benefit the annual The Outstanding Filipino Americans in New York Awards (Tofa-NY), founded by Filipino-American journalist Elton Lugay, and the ongoing multiple sclerosis research partly-funded by Mindoro Healthcare Consulting, LLC, spearheaded by its president and CEO, Jona Jane Tajonera.

Spotted at the concert were Philippines-New York Consul General Mario de Leon, Jr. and family, "Godspell of 2032's" Jon Viktor Corpuz, "The King and I's" Alan Ariano, Sao Paulo's Carnival Queen Bessie Badilla, theater critic Randy Gener, and New York Daily News' theater journalist Wayman Wong, among others.
