Peter Friedman joins Roundabout's Twelve Angry Men

Tony® nominated Peter Friedman will return to Broadway in Roundabout Theatre Company's Broadway premiere production of Reginald Rose's Twelve Angry Men. Mr. Friedman will assume the role of the "Juror #10." Directed by Scott Ellis at the American Airlines Theatre (227 West 42nd Street), previews will begin on Friday, October 1st, 2004 and opens officially on Thursday, October 28th, 2004. This is a limited engagement through December 19, 2004.

Dan Hedaya had to withdraw from the company of Twelve Angry Men due to personal reasons.

Peter Friedman (Juror #10) originated the role of "Tateh" in the musical Ragtime in its world premiere in Toronto, as well as on Broadway, receiving the Outer Critics Circle Award and Tony and Drama Desk Award nominations. He was in the original New York productions of The Heidi Chronicles by Wendy Wasserstein and Simon Gray's The Common Pursuit (earning Drama Desk nominations for both), A Soldier's Play by Charles Fuller, C.P. Taylor's ...and a Nightingale Sang and Execution of Justice by Emily Mann. He also appeared in New York in My Old Lady by Israel Horovitz, The Tenth Man by Paddy Chayefsky, Donald Margulies' The Loman Family Picnic and On a Clear Day You Can See Forever for Encores! at City Center. His films include Paycheck, Safe, The Seventh Sign, Single White Female and Blink; and on television he was a performer on "The Muppet Show" and a series regular on "Brooklyn Bridge."

The cast features Tom Aldredge (Juror #9), Mark Blum (Juror # 1), Philip Bosco (Juror #3), Larry Bryggman (Juror #11), Robert Clohessy (Juror #6), Boyd Gaines (Juror #8), Kevin Geer (Juror #2), Michael Mastro (Juror #5), Matte Osian (Guard), John Pankow (Juror #7), James Rebhorn (Juror #4) and Adam Trese (Juror #12).

Twelve Angry Men will play Tuesday through Saturday evenings at 8:00PM with a Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday matinee at 2:00PM.
