Pen Parentis to Host DISTURBINGLY RACY Literary Salon on Valentine's Day

This year on Valentine's Day, seek a more meaningful event than the usual romcom viewing. Show your love for your neighbor and increase your love for yourself. No preparations required, all are warmly welcome, with or without a date.

A Pen Parentis Special Valentine's Day event - DISTURBINGLY RACY: A Valentine's Day Salon at Andaz - will feature three experts on writing about race and how it affects their children.

Novelist Helen Wan, Columbia University Professor Karl Jacoby, and grassroots journalist Shani Gilchrist will participate in readings, signings, and timely discussion moderated by salons veterans M. M. De Voe and Christina Chiu.
