Paula Poundstone to Perform at Ridgefield Playhouse, 2/28

Some tickets remain to experience live the razor-sharp wit and impeccable comedic timing of "Wait, Wait...Don't Tell Me"... it's Paula Poundstone, on Saturday, February 28, at 8 p.m. at The Ridgefield Playhouse.

Her latest book is There's Nothing in This Book That I Meant to Say...very funny. She interacts spontaneously with her audience, delivering her observational humorous lines with such candor and comedic value that everybody laughs out loud. Paula can be heard on NPR's "Morning Edition", the "Huffington Post" and comedy site "23/6." Poundstone has released her first comedy CD, "I Heart Jokes: Paula Tells Them in Maine," which is 60 minutes of hilarious comedy recorded live at the Stone Mountain Arts Center. The star of several solo HBO and Bravo specials, Paula was the first woman to win an ACE Award (the Cable Emmy Award) for Best Standup Comedy Performance and the first woman to be invited to perform at the distinguished White House Correspondents' dinner, which the President of the United States attends. Ticket holders can mix & mingle in the lobby at 7:15 p.m. with a wine tasting courtesy of Palm Bay International. Bissell House (378 Main St., Ridgefield) will pour a free glass of house wine or draught beer with dinner the night of this show when tickets/stubs are presented.
