On December 6, Paul Hutcheson returns from Canada for a one-night-only reprise of On Second Thought. A 2009 FRIGID Audience Choice Winner, On Second Thought is a comedic one-man show based on the crazy situations we end up in during our lives that force us to question how we got there. From skydivers and high school teachers to porn renters and landscapers, one full grown male explores it all.

In addition, FRIGID welcomes local artist Phillip Southern and Frigid's partner organization, Recession Art for the Art Auction. During the performance, Phillip Southern will create an oil paint portrait of the audience from life, on the spot. Patrons will be able to begin the bidding on this unique work of art, as well as works in photo, painting, and sculpture by the artists of Recession Art, a new arts organization devoted to helping emerging artists show and sell their work. The proceeds from the Frigid Art Auction will go to benefit future Frigid and Recession Art programming.

Tickets for Frigid's Holiday Benefit are $50 and can be purchased by calling 212-868-4444 or online at FRIGIDnewyork.info. There will be a complementary wine and cheese reception after the performance. The event begins at 2pm at 94 St. Marks Place (btwn 1st Ave and Ave A).

The FRIGID New York Festival was founded by Horse Trade and EXIT Theatre in 2007. For more information visit FRIGIDnewyork.info.
