Patrick DeGennaro Returns to Birdland Dec.9

Singer-songwriter DeGennaro will be joined by his band to perform an all-new show featuring recent originals, including "Standing Up Straight" and "Pick Up the Power," alongside pop classics, such as "Maybe I'm Amazed" and "Paperback Writer," and contemporary theatre favorites by leading composers & lyricists Adam Guettel (The Light in the Piazza) and Jason Robert Brown (Parade, The Last Five Years) – all featuring his own inimitable style and flair.

DeGennaro most recently won the Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs' 2007 Award for Outstanding Male Vocalist. An athletic vocal powerhouse with a soulfully-crafted whisper, DeGennaro has performed at celebrated venues including Joe's Pub; Town Hall; The Bottom Line; Symphony Space; and CBGB's. He is also one of this year's Nightlife Award finalists, and a Back Stage Bistro Award winner for Outstanding Male Vocalist.

DeGennaro performs Sunday, December 9 at 7PM at Birdland (315 West 44th Street, between 8th & 9th Aves).
