Charlotte Parry will play the part of Nat in the Roundabout Theatre Company's production of Patrick Marber's Howard Katz.
The role was originally to have been played by Kristen Bush.
Howard Katz will begin previews on February 2nd and open on March 8th at the Laura Pels Theatre.
Parry (The Real Thing, Sir Peter Hall's The Importance of Being Earnest) joins a company that includes two-time Tony Award-nominee Alfred Molina (Fiddler on the Roof, Art), Alvin Epstein (3 Penny Opera, King Lear), Elizabeth Franz (Death of a Salesman), Jessica Hecht (Julius Caeasar) and Euan Morton (Brundibar, Taboo), as well as Max Baker, Patrick Henney and Edward Hajj. Tony-winner Doug Hughes (Doubt) will direct.
"Once a hard-hearted showbiz agent, Howard Katz has lost everything he ever valued," according to Roundabout notes. The play, by the author of Closer, captures "a man free-falling yet determinedly clinging to life in a universal story that will touch even the most cynical heart."
