Parks and Communities Urge New Yorkers to Water Their Street Trees This Summer

On Saturday, Queens Parks Commissioner Dorothy Lewandowski and Parks Foresters joined the Beachside Bungalow Preservation Association to water street trees and encourage New Yorkers
to do so during this current heat wave and throughout the summer.

Rockaway community members watered new trees planted through the Million Trees NYC, a mayoral initiative to plant one million new trees by 2017, along Beach 25th Street and Seagirt Avenue.
