Paintbox '99 Exhibition to Open at Roscommon Arts Centre, 20th July

PaintBox '99 Exhibition will be presented at The Gallery at Roscommon Arts Centre 20th July - 28th July.  The exhibition will open Wednesday 20th July 5.00pm - 7.00pm.  All Welcome!

Paintbox '99 Art Group was formed by a group of women of diverse backgrounds and talents from Roscommon, with a shared love of creating art. For almost two decades this group has continued to meet regularly and also attend classes with established artists from the region. Working with various mediums including acrylic, oil, mixed media and watercolour, these artists' influences are wide and varying including the local landscape both natural and manmade, flora and fauna. This July Roscommon Arts Centre welcomes Paintbox '99 as the first of a season of summer exhibitions by local Roscommon-based artists.

Taking part in this exhibition are six of the groups members: Anna Duignan, Eileen Duignan, Beatrice Finn, Anne Hanly, Mary Harlow and Kitty Phelan.
